Napoleon Syndrome, a Magic 8-Ball and the Very Inspiring Blogger Award

Thank you! Oh! Thank you! I can hardly conjugate verbs! I feel so blessed! And this statue – it’s so shiny! Oh, thank you again! I just want everyone to know that even in my wildest hallucinations; I never would have imagined that this could ever validate my mediocrity. And to the other super-amazing nominees, I want each of you to know how totally wonderful your jealousy makes me feel right now!

You know, there are so many Napoleon Complex-suffering studio execs to thank! First off though, I want to pay off the person who nominated me Snarky Snatch, who looked deep within her Magic 8-Ball before giving me this fantastic award and inspired this ‘snarky’ acceptance speech! Also, I want to thank my guru, for being such a powerful force in my contract negotiations and to the People Under the Stairs, who taught me to take life by the horns. And finally, to all the personal assistants I fired – I couldn’t have done it without you!

Ohhh…I want to thank everyone I’ve ever met in my entire life and pass on the nomination to 5 fellow bloggers that truly inspire me.

Love and a Six Foot Leash

 GingerFightBack

On a serious note, I am surprised every single day that anyone other than those obligated (my close friends and family) take the time to read my little blog. I’m very proud to add this award to my Trophy Case.

Thank you, Sincerely!

  1. Congratualtions!! Well deserved!! And thank you so much for passing the award to me! I’m really flattered that you like my blog that much to award it! I truly apreciate it! This weekend I’m away so after the weekend I’ll make sure to post it and thank you once more!! :)

  2. Jeny ~ I didn’t give you justice in explaining how much you have inspired me to blog from the very beginning. You were the very first subscriber, aside from my gent and I know it is through your blog, and continued belief in me, that my blog began to flourish. You give insight to things with humor and grace. You have way far more a positive snatch than I do which is why I come here to bask in the hope that your words inspire. Thank you my friend.

  3. Heheheheh.. congratulations — your acceptance speech has now qualified you to replace Billy Christal as MC of next year’s soiree.

I would have attended this year’s bash, but I couldn’t find an ethnic minority to accept the award in my absence.

  4. In this world where people blindly compete – it is lovely to be recognised by peers. This award says much about the giver and the recipient. Congratulations to both :-)
